And the sweet thing is, the boycott was the reason he got fired!
But in August, CtW raised the stakes by calling for the CEO's removal. The activist group said an editorial by Mackey opposing President Obama's health care plan damaged the company's reputation, especially among its left-leaning customers.
The group said Mackey "attempted to capitalize on the brand reputation of Whole Foods to champion his personal political views but has instead deeply offended a key segment of Whole Foods consumer base."

This is just evidence that this sort of pressure pays off. I don't know about others, but to this day I won't buy Gallo products or Coors beer and I still won't watch ABC.
The boycott of Beck advertisers certainly has yielded good results, and now, a little Christmas present for those of us on the leftist fringe who want this gentlemen to keep his personal views quiet or leave.
Whole Foods is not near where I live so it's not some place I shop often and never since he shot off his mouth. I'll wait and see whether I go back there.
