I'm a little scared to post this, because I have never published a blog, so please be kind.
Today, I have come to the end of my rope. I am sick of supposed Liberals pushing the same junk Rush Limbaugh and Glen Beck push. So please join me in my disgust lets fight against the "Birther" movement.
I have recently moved to Atlanta Georgia where the concept of Progressive Talk radio has not arrived, so I listen to Sirius. Now I have to be truthful and state I have never liked Lynn Samuels and changed my station whenever she comes on. But the past couple days have put me into to a serious rage.
Yesterday, Lynn started accusing the Obama administration of being the Gestapo and calling them Brown Shirts. Being a German that is the worst insult anyone can throw around. But then it got worse she started talking about them being fascist, socialist, communist and terrorists. She kept saying that we know nothing about this man we can't find any records on him. We don't know where he comes from, he is a Manchurian candidate, an alien and so much drecht I couldn't stand it.
So, before I called without arming myself with facts, I went home to find out what she was talking about. Well, Linda Douglas has a post on the Whitehouse website asking for you to send them any disinformation so they can debunk it. This simple request is what has this crazy woman Lynn Samuels in a rage. I guess I am naive, but I also like to know what crazy rumors are being spread so I can stop them. This is why I sometimes, not on a full stomach, read the Drudge Report.
Today I tuned back in and she was even crazier then yesterday. So, I called and after 15 minutes of being yelled at and called an idiot I became in raged. I then came home, called Sirius, lodged a complaint, threatened to cancel my subscription, and felt like I needed to do more. That is why, even though I have a fear of writing for public view I decided to post this diary.
So, I am begging you, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, help me stand up to these crazy people. How you ask, well here are my suggestions:
- Call the Lynn Samuels show tomorrow and argue with her until she goes even crazier. Reach Lynn at 1-866-99-SIRIUS and visit her website at www.lynnsamuels.com.
- Call Sirius at Call us: 1-888-539-SIRIUS (7474) get a person and lodge a complaint.
- Go to at least one Health Care Town Hall and fight these "Screamers" to find them: http://recessrally.com/
