Want to play the Kerry veep game?

As Kerry is the the front-runner today, and may not be tomorrow, I'd like to play the veep game while we're waiting nervously for NH results. No, I don't believe in jinxing fears.

I think Kerry's veep pick is rather obvious: John Edwards. Edwards is hardly the logical choice for Dean or Clark, but he sure is for Kerry, regionally, age-wise, working class background-wise, and even face-wise / smiling-wise.

And, yes, I am treating the veep "slot" from a cynical electoral politics point of view here, where region and age split matters.

Of course there are plenty of people to choose from among other people than "also-rans", but Edwards kind of "has it" to balance Kerry, in my opinion.
