I was checking out the
Blogrolling - Hot 500, and no big surprise, Daily Kos is #5. But what other blogs on that list are worth reading? Certainly not Power Line or Michelle Malkin. Ewwwww!
So since I have what I laughingly call an advanced degree in CS, and time on my hands since IT guys over 40 can't seem to get jobs, I decided to put together a rudimentary clustering algorithm.
Roughly 27,000 bloggers contribute to the Blogrolling Hot 500. As of this writing, 1290 of them link to the Daily Kos. So I calculated the number of times these 1290 linked to other blogs, and sorted the results. Check out the top 19 below the fold.
It would have been 20, but Wonkette got listed twice.

As you can see, I must be some kind of frickin' genius. Now go tell someone in Minnesota with money.
