As of 10:56 a.m. eastern, the AP is now showing JoAnne Kloppenburg ahead of David Prosser by 369 votes, with only five precincts left.
Updates in this space as they appear. More discussion in jump23's diary on the rec list. Prepare for a recount.
11:02 am: Kloppenburg now ahead by 447 votes, per TMJ4.
11:05 am: The five remaining precincts are mainly in Prosser territory, even the two precincts in Milwaukee. So, it should finish closer than 447 votes.
11:07am (David): There are five precincts left: one each in Jefferson, Juneau, and Taylor, and two in Milwaukee. We believe the Jeff and Taylor precincts are less Prosser-leaning than their counties, while the Milwaukee precincts (suburban West Allis) are much more favorable to Prosser than MKE as a whole. As for Juneau, that's in the good lord's hands.
11:14am: AP just made some adjustments to previous counties, so now KloJo's lead is at 311.
11:29am (Chris): Another adjustment. Kloppenburg now by 309. Still five precincts outstanding.
11:30am (David): The town of Lake Mills in Jefferson Co. is apparently having issues with its vote count.
