Let's make a community quilt for peregrine kate. She has endometrial cancer and underwent a radical hysterectomy In February. Radical hysterectomy is no small thing to undergo in and of itself -- but because peregrine kate had hers because of cancer, she is also undergoing an aggressive chemo treatment to be followed by radiation treatment. This is a lot to endure. Fortunately, peregrine kate has a very brave spirit -- and we can surely help her by wrapping her in our love and support. Moreover, treatment rooms are chilly and we can help keep her warm in heart and body.

What is a community (or "love catcher") quilt? It is a colorful quilt that contains messages from you transcribed on muslin in archival ink by me. The love in these blankets will never wash out -- and many people have found them to be a precious support in a trying time.
