So Mitch McConnell went on CNN's State of the Union yesterday and claimed Republicans haven't been obstructing efforts by Democrats and the Obama administration to take action on the jobs crisis. Either he was lying through his teeth, or there's a really good Mitch McConnell impersonator on YouTube who's been saying the exact opposite for the past three years:

McCONNELL (Oct. 23, 2011): They are picking unnecessary fights, there are plenty of things we can do together [...] They're ashamed to mention any of the things that they do with Republicans because it steps on their storyline. Their storyline is that there must be some villain out there who's keeping this administration from succeeding.
BRETT BAIER (November, 2010): You told National Journal "The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term president." Do you still believe that today?
McCONNELL (November, 2010): Well, of course. I mean, I'm the Republican leader of the Senate. I want to have a Republican president.
McCONNELL (November, 2010): Some have said it was indelicate of me to suggest that our top political priority over the next two years should be to deny President Obama a second term.
McCONNELL (Oct. 23, 2011): Obviously as Republican leader of the Senate, I would like a new president.
McCONNELL (July, 2011): That's my most important political goal along with every active Republican in the country
McCONNELL (Oct. 23, 2011): Well the president is trying to convince everybody that somebody else, anybody else is responsible. [...] They're looking around for anybody else to blame other than themselves for the place that they find them. They got everything they wanted from Congress the first two years.
BOB SCHIEFFER (February, 2009): If it came to it, would Republicans filibuster this bill [the stimulus] if it was not to your liking?
McCONNELL (February, 2009): Well that term is thrown around a lot. In the senate it routinely takes 60 votes to do almost everything.
McCONNELL (Oct. 23, 2011): It must be those millionaires, it most those people in Congress. By the way, he owned Congress for most of the time he's been in office.
McCONNELL (February, 2009): A super-majorityh is required for virtually everything in the Senate and certainly for something that's close to a trillion dollar spending bill.
McCONNELL (November, 2010): If the administration wants cooperation it will have to begin to move in our direction.
