I really don't have much to say, because I think a random act of kindness like this speaks for itself. If it doesn't give the warm and fuzzies, even a little bit, you need your fuzz-o-meter re-calibrated!
There are so many great communities here, so while I am at it, I have put in a plug for my favorite ones. I made lifelong awesome friends that I talk to every single day in Mojo Friday, and even though we live in all corners of the country, we have met up several times. In fact it has turned into a yearly palooza event (the pictures are soooo scandalous!).
Saturday Morning Garden Blogging is a great haven for people who love to garden, want to learn about gardening, or just want to look at amazing, beautiful photographs of all living things. The people in SMGB are super fun and nice and helpful! I also couldn't help but notice that quite a few people that have gotten secret santa subscriptions are members of that community. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Meatless Mondays has given me so many great recipes and I so appreciate the gentle encouragement to try and get more people to consider a meat free diet. Thanks Beach Babe!!
What are you Working on is also a great place to get and share ideas. I am usually knee deep in so many projects I just get to lurk, but it is a great and helpful community! Thanks jlms qkw!
Of course there are many, many others, these are just my personal favorites. I think community is what keeps me here, and I feel bad for members out there that haven't discovered that yet.
Finally,, here are a few icy pictures form last year because I am so bummed that we don't have any snow yet here in Chicagoland. Not to mention diaries are way more exciting with pictures. :)
