In Wisconsin, the Scott Walker administration recently unveiled a new policy for protests at the state capitol that requires permits for gatherings of four or more people and holds protesters liable for the cost of extra police and cleanup.
The policy went into effect yesterday, but protesters were undeterred. Hundreds of people gathered in the capitol rotunda for the daily Solidarity Sing-Along, an event that usually attracts only a few dozen.
A reworked version of "Jingle Bells," with recall-themed lyrics, was among the songs the protesters perfromed. Here's the video:
