Good Morning Kossacks and Welcome to Morning Open Thread (MOT)
We're known as the MOTley Crew and you can find us here every morning at 6:30 Eastern. Feel free to volunteer to take a day - permanently or just once in awhile. With the auto-publish feature you can set it and forget it. Sometimes the diarist du jour shows up much later, that's the beauty of Open Thread...it carries on without you! Just let us know in the comments. You can click on the Morning Open Thread "heart" if you'd like us to show up in your stream every day.
Doing one of these diaries is a good way to get your feet wet if you have been hesitant about writing a diary. You can write as much or as little as you want. The audience here is always supportive.
Funny that Phil would be born on Inauguration Day cause I can just see him doing some "swearing in" when he was born! Ha!
We all love to give Phil a hard time, because he loves to give all of us a hard time too! Luckily we are all pretty good sports around here.
I think I kinda know how old Phil really is, but I'm not exactly sure. I know that when he was young rainbows were in black and white...that he once went into an antique shop and they sold Him...that he used to babysit for Cain and Abel...that he was a waiter at the Last Supper...and that his drivers license is carved into a rock.
I'll let you choose:
Phil is
So here we go...party is on...
Here's your cake, Phil.
Let's make Phil feel special today. Let's let him pretend to be Chuck Norris all day! I'll get it started off:
Phil S died 10 years ago, but the Grim Reaper is afraid to tell him.
Phil S can eat the inside of an orange without peeling it.
Phil S counted to infinity, twice.
Phil S doesn't call the wrong number, you answer the wrong phone.
When Phil S touches water he doesn't get wet, the water gets Phil S.
Phil S can sneeze with his eyes open.
When the Boogyman goes to sleep he checks his closet for Phil S.
Phil S can divide by zero.
And now, on to your present...keep a lookout for this in your mail:
because I bought you a two year subscription ;D
Happy Birthday, Phil. And many more.
