I hope everyone is aware of what is going on tomorrow and Friday (May 3 & 4) in Jersey City. It’s vital. And we need to make a stand to show our opposition.
An ALEC-sponsored, so-called "education reform" conference is going on there, with a group of far-right extremist politicians, from Chris Christie to Bobby Jindal, who has recently gloated about gutting the schools of Louisiana.
This gathering of the truly odious and anti-democratic, anti-schools, corporate elite, needs to be confronted in a direct non-violent, peaceful way. And they need to hear from the parents and citizens who do NOT want our money going into the pockets of private companies that want to eventually take over our schools.

Come and tell your stories to the media that will be on site. Especially if you’re a parent, or student, or teacher or taxpayer who has seen the sham and the fraud of “education reform”.
