Our friend, Regina in a Sears Kit House, has been extremely ill. Her immune system is compromised by what is commonly known as Lyme Disease -- something she has lived with for a long time now. But her problems right now were brought on by another illness. The treatment for a recent and dangerous bout of respiratory infection exacerbated the immune problems again and ever since Regina has been in a world of hurt. She is hyper-sensitive to everything, to the point where IV drugs have been necessary to control life threatening reactions. We rallied around her in a diary of good wishes at the end of June -- but now it is time to put our wishes into a quilt she can wrap up in. The loving support of friends, sewn into a blanket, can only help at this time.

Leave a message for Regina in the comments below and I will transcribe it on muslin in archival ink. My sister and I will sew it into something colorful and warm that Regina can hang onto when she is in pain, cry into if she needs to, rest under any time of day, and read over and over. Let's wrap her in love.
