This is my first time posting a diary... please feel free to provide constructive criticism/pointers/etc.

The last couple of days a video showing Tommy Thompson explaining how he would be qualified to get rid of and replace Medicaid and Medicare has started going around.

Annie Jo and JamieG from Md posted it here on DK (links above) and it's also been posted by ThinkProgress.  The original youtube video was uploaded by the WIUSSenateFootage account and can be seen here:  Tommy Thompson Says He Has A Plan To "Do Away With Medicaid And Medicare"

The original posting of the video was uploaded in a format that doesn't work well with youtube and the sound/video were completely out of sync, so I downloaded the original file (which WIUSSenateFootage included a link to), modified it to another video format, and re-uploaded it.

I am NOT trying to take credit for the video.  I simply thought it needed to be smoother so that it's absolutely clear that Tommy Thompson said this.
