It has been one week since President Barack Obama handily won re-election with an electoral landslide and 3 million-plus popular vote that enshrines his win as a mandate.
The Republicans being the party that was vanquished have provided us with a variety of dismissive descriptions and explanations about this undeniable victory.
Republican vice-Presidential nominee Paul Ryan suggested that the President's win wasn't a real win and decided to ghettoize his win by saying he won urban centers. According to Ryan the President does not have a mandate because in addition to electing the President, voters also sent some Republicans to the House of Representatives.
Karl Rove said the President won due to "voter suppression," by defining voter suppression as running ads against your opponent and getting more votes than him.
Anti-tax fundamentalist, Grover Norquist said the President won because he defined Mitt Romney as a "poopyhead," and in that explanation Norquist proved that the GOP is clearly the grownup party of Big Ideas.
Several GOPers blame Superstorm Sandy and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, for making the President look Presidential, thus killing the "Mittmentum," that had been on an unstoppable trajectory since Debate One.
Now the we finally hear from Mitt himself as to why the President won. According to Mitt, President Obama bribed his voters with giveaways.
Obama, Romney argued, had been “very generous” to blacks, Hispanics and young voters. He cited as motivating factors to young voters the administration’s plan for partial forgiveness of college loan interest and the extension of health coverage for students on their parents’ insurance plans well into their 20s. Free contraception coverage under Obama’s healthcare plan, he added, gave an extra incentive to college-age women to back the president.
Romney argued that Obama’s healthcare plan’s promise of coverage “in perpetuity” was “highly motivational” to those voters making $25,000 to $35,000 who might not have been covered, as well as to African American and Hispanic voters. Pivoting to immigration, Romney said the Obama campaign’s efforts to paint him as “anti-immigrant” had been effective and that the administration’s promise to offer what he called “amnesty” to the children of illegal immigrants had helped turn out Hispanic voters in record numbers.
“The president’s campaign,” he said, “focused on giving targeted groups a big gift — so he made a big effort on small things. Those small things, by the way, add up to trillions of dollars.”

It’s interesting that when Willard provided universal healthcare coverage in Massachusetts, which covered contraception and abortion that was something he was rightly proud of.
When the President uses the same model and mechanisms to cover the entire nation, Mitt characterizes them as gifts or bribes to get African Americans, young people, women and Latinos to vote for him.
Paul Ryan and Mitt Romney have shown that they have no class.
Mitt has nothing to lose and everything to gain by being gracious in defeat, yet he still decides to take the low road.
