They must have known we were coming. All fifteen peeps from Occupy Oakland's Foreclosure Defense Group and allies, crossing over to San Francisco on a trek to Morgan Stanley's office building. And I guess they weren't happy about it. Barricades were deployed around the entire edifice, security guards locked down the building and stood ready for what they must have believed was armegeddon to be. A 40-story monolith went silent because... Jodie Randolph, armed with a letter, wanted to deliver it to John Sheldon, Executive Director of Morgan Stanley San Francisco. It asked that someone she could negotiate with be assigned to her case. That's all. We didn't even have one single mask on! Honest!

Scary, eh? ------->>>>>>>
To the right is Black Bloc femme fatale Kossack Kith (2nd from the front) and other OOFDG peeps on their way.
While all sorts of other exciting things were happening in Oakland, fifteen people devoted to saving Jodie's home crossed the Bay, met up at Montgomery BART, and marched to Morgan Stanley's offices in San Francisco.
There the delegation was met by barricades instead of a Morgan Stanley representative. Bank of America, with a branch in the lobby of the building, locked itself down. Jodie was left to read the letter she wanted delivered out loud on the steps of the building in the vain hope that somewhere thirty stories up in the monolith behind her someone was watching the livestream.
How do we make this any clearer? Give Jodie someone who can make a decision; give her someone who can negotiate in good faith. Keep Jodie in her home and not only will Occupy Oakland peeps go back across the bay, but Morgan Stanley could end up with some good publicity for a change! And another change...

Jodie reads the letter. Are you listening, John Sheldon?
