I'm also wondering if there will be any meetings in DC of kossacks for this event. I will ask in * New Day * today to see if that is possible.
I'm trying to get this meetup for Saturday Evening.
I hope to meet kossacks Saturday the 16th. I should be there by 2:00pm Saturday afternoon. Would be awesome to meet up!

I also wanted to let you know some more details about the rally. We'll be gathering on the National Mall between the Washington Monument and the White House -- the nearest Metro Stations (subway) are Federal Triangle and Smithsonian. Actions will include a march to the White House and a giant human pipeline down 15th Street that will transform into a symbol of renewable energy. And we'll have a big announcement about speakers by next week!
well it's HERE I'll be running around this morning getting the last of my stuff complete & loaded for trhe trip to Washington DC.
I hope to meet alot of kossacks today & tomorrow
On Saturday Febuary 16th if you are interested in meeting other kossacks in the DC area, we will be meeting at
teaism from 6:00pm till 8:00pm.
angelajean suggested this place & wrote this:
However, there is a restaurant near all four metro lines called Teaism. They do serve tea
but you can also buy beer and wine. They serve food ranging from snacks (cookies, scones,
tea sandwiches) to small plates to full meals (bento boxes and noodle dishes and sometimes
stews, soups, and curries, and decent selection of veggie salads). It's a good place to go
if we aren't sure how many people to expect. We don't need a reservation. We buy our own
food upstairs and then take it downstairs to the basement level where there are many tables
to chose from. The group could shrink and grow in size pretty easily.
I hope I'm getting this info to you in time for you to be there.
The address to the Teaism is 400 8th Street NW
Thanks
