Via Little Green Footballs: The White House created the hashtag #askFLOTUS for citizens to tweet their concerns about childhood obesity to the First Lady. Predictably, the hashtag was quickly hijiacked by bigots.

Among these was Northern Ohio farmer John Cossel, who compared the First Lady to "Aunt Jemima" in the following racist tweet:

"why do u look like aunt jemima walking up the steps next to 2white women? Aren’t u the health nut?" (7:37 AM - Mar 11, 2013)

John Cossel is the owner of Cossel Farms in North Royalton, Ohio. In addition to the racist gem copied above, his Twitter account is full of the usual ranting right-wing teabaggery characteristic of his ugly ilk.

Contact information for Cossel Farms is as follows:

15981 York Road  (N.E. corner of York & Bennett Rds.)
North Royalton, OH 44133
tel: (440) 237-8565
e-mail: cossel@cosselfarms.com

Cossel Farms sells its produce throughout the Cleveland area, including at local farmers' markets in North Royalton, Parma, Hinckley, Brunswick, and Strongsville. Please avoid buying from this bigot. Please feel free also to address comments to Mr. Cossel via his contact information above.

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
