Recently Oregon Gal invited me to the Portland Farmer's Market where she is a vendor selling her out of the world goat cheese. Here Oregon Gal purchases fresh oysters from a fellow vendor.
The sites and smells were amazing! From the organic fresh fruits and vegetables to the vendors who were cooking their yummy foods.
Is there a local Farmer's Market in your area? Do you attend?
The Chef of Tastebud. He buys cheese from Oregon Gal for his pizzas.
These tomatoes were so big that I had to hold one of them with both of my hands.
A fellow vendor and admirer of Oregon Gal. He sells his Smoked Salmon. He shared that his biggest customers are female. I can see why. The salmon is delicious and he is very charming! ;)
Oregon Gal sampling organically grown apples.
While Oregon Gal sampled apples, I sampled about 6 different jams. All were delicious. I bought Strawberry-Pepper. it is made with strawberries and jalapeno peppers. Oh man, talk about tantalizing your taste buds. Yummy!
Be still my heart. Chicago Style pizza! Oh, how I miss thee.
As soon as I shared with sons Sequoyah and Joshblu that there is Chitown Pizza in Oregon, we decided we are going back to the farmer's market very soon.
Of course these pink cupcakes caught my eye. I exercised great RESTRAINT and did not purchase one. While we sampled several things I saved me appetite for lunch with some very beautiful friends:
