This news is like 'happy dance' music to the ears of Rush Limbaugh boycotters. Until tomorrow, it's rumor -- a very realistic rumor, nonetheless it's hearsay and  20 news organizations have picked it up. (CNN has yet to report it as of this writing.)

Yesterday, Daily News reported Limbaugh whining about being a victim. Then last night, Politico, reported an inside leak told them Rush Limbaugh was leaving major radio network, Cumulus. Limbaugh is reportedly upset because Cumulus's CEO, Dickey keeps blaming him for the mega network's millions in losses? If that wasn't true, I imagine Limbaugh would have started suing Cumulus last year. Oh poor Limbaugh. He's being badmouthed and maybe even dumped. Should we give him some cheese and crackers to go with his 'whine'? Politico says the leak is coming from someone close to the show. Well yeah. Wouldn't Limbaugh want to see a leak go out that made himself look good, like he was the one leaving Cumulus rather than the other way around? -True Limbaugh style.

People are so eager to hear of Limbaugh's demise.
No one will know until Tuesday, when Cumulus is due to release their 1st Quarter earnings and Lew Dickey is expected to make a statement. Let's hope, for their sake, their earnings are better than Limbaugh's parent company, Clear Channel who reported a $203 million loss in revenue during their1st quarter report, compared to a $143 million loss last year at this time. This is clear proof the Limbaugh protests, boycotts and petitions are having a huge impact. Clear Channel's bad news came Thursday after the bell and quickly spread throughout social media.

I have no sympathy for Cumulus' CEO, Dickey; Clear Channel's CEO, Bob Pittman; or Clear Channel's President John Sykes. And I certainly have no sympathy, only smiles, for Rush Limbaugh as I witness the collapsing of his smut empire. They all have been promoting racism, sexism and gay-hating bigotry for too many years by allowing the show to stay on the air.

This is thanks to the many Limbaugh protests, boycotts and petitions. Facebook's Boycott-Rush-Limbaughs-Sponsors-to-SHUT-HIM-DOWN picked up close to 1,000 new member over the weekend bringing the membership to close to 55k.

The premise of this story was also reported in an earlier diary by Proglegs. In fact, we have severe good diaries floating about Daily Kos today, on by JohnKWilson who just wrote the book: The Most Dangerous Man In America. Rush Limbaugh's Assault On Reason

More Tagging tips:

A tag is a way to search for this diary. If someone is searching for "Barack Obama," is this a diary they'd be trying to find?

Use a person's full name, without any title. Senator Obama may become President Obama, and Michelle Obama might run for office.

If your diary covers an election or elected official, use election tags, which are generally the state abbreviation followed by the office. CA-01 is the first district House seat. CA-Sen covers both senate races. NY-GOV covers the New York governor's race.

Tags do not compound: that is, "education reform" is a completely different tag from "education". A tag like "reform" alone is probably not meaningful.

Consider if one or more of these tags fits your diary: Civil Rights, Community, Congress, Culture, Economy, Education, Elections, Energy, Environment, Health Care, International, Labor, Law, Media, Meta, National Security, Science, Transportation, or White House. If your diary is specific to a state, consider adding the state (California, Texas, etc). Keep in mind, though, that there are many wonderful and important diaries that don't fit in any of these tags. Don't worry if yours doesn't.
