It's a bad day to be a professional moral scold.
My thoughts on the SCOTUS ruling that determined that same sex marriage is okay: "Jesus wept."
— @GovMikeHuckabee
5 people in robes said they are bigger than the voters of CA and Congress combined. And bigger than God.May He forgive us all.

Guy from Family Research Council says on CNN DOMA decision adversely affects florists, forced to change way they do business. I kid you not.
— @petermarksdrama
One man, Kennedy, has decided marriage policy for 315 million people. That is tyranny. All hail the king.
— @BryanJFischer
Do not believe the liberal media reports suggesting same-sex marriage is now the law of land. It is not. #DOMA #SSM #tcot
— @GaryLBauer
That's actually an important point. Conservatives, today's ruling does not
require you to get gay married. There's been a lot of confusion on this point, so I think Gary Bauer and others are going to have to quickly whip up a pamphlet or something just to make sure the whole conservative movement doesn't accidentally marry each other.
NOM pledges to defy SCOTUS? "We and millions of other Americans will refuse to accept this rogue decision rewarding corruption"
— @samsteinhp
They probably count "defiance" as refusing to get forcibly married, so they'll be fine. Or maybe the defense of upstanding bigot morals will now shift to the Asshole Florist stage. "Keep stacking those sandbags, boys, there's a cute pair of women headed this way and they look like they mean to spend some cash."
Courageous. RT @toddstarnes: Won't be long before they outlaw the Bible as hate speech.
— @johnbrougher
I've made a solemn vow to only use the word
derp in occasions that really require it. I just broke it out.
Gohmert: gay marriage is "usually tried at the end of a great civilization."
— @igorvolsky
How the hell do you get there, sport? Does Louie Gohmert really think that at the end of every "great civilization," someone stands up and says, "Well, things have really been going to hell. How can we turn this thing around?" and someone else says, "Hmm. What if we all turn gay? That's gotta shake things up, right?" I have no idea how this man's mind works. All I can imagine is a cartoon image of a dancing squirrel.
Then again …
Asked for a response to Rep Bachmann's statement about DOMA, @NancyPelosi just responds: "Who cares?"
— @frankthorpNBC
Oh, Nancy. I wish I had that kind of fortitude. But I don't. The tears, they are too delicious.
