House Republicans decide they don't need no stinkin' government!

And it's official: House Republicans, acting on the behest of former Speaker of the House John Boehner's new overlord, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Delusional), have passed their latest doomed continuing resolution to fund the government that:

• Delays the implementation of Obamacare for one year.
• Includes a "measure [that] would allow employers and insurers to opt out of providing health care services that they find morally or religiously objectionable" because this is all about funding the government.
• Repeals the medical-device tax in Obamacare.
• Makes sure the military is paid, because Republicans must always pretend to support the troops (unless they're screwing them over on VA care and whatnot).

And now it's off to the Senate where it's dead on arrival, meaning that we're even closer to a government shutdown. On the bright side, Congress will still be paid.
