Many Republicans admitted their efforts to hobble executive agencies by denying confirmation of their leadership was wrongheaded. “Cordray was being filibustered because we don’t like the law” that created the consumer agency, said Senator Lindsey Graham, Republican of South Carolina. “That’s not a reason to deny someone their appointment. We were wrong.”
Sen. Graham sure hopes you (well, not you, but primary voters in South Carolina) don't remember him saying that, because this is what he's doing now.

Just to make sure that his fellow Republicans get that he's back on the obstruction bandwagon, he went on
Fox News to announce it.
GRAHAM: So I am calling for a joint select committee. [...] And where are the survivors? 14 months later, Steve, the survivors, the people who survived the attack in Benghazi, have not been made available to the U.S. congress for oversight purposes. I’m going to block every appointment in the United States Senate until the survivors are being made available to the Congress. I’m tired of hearing from people on TV and reading about stuff in books.
That, of course, isn't wrongheaded at all. Obstruction in the name of blunting opposition from the tea party is serious business, if you're Lindsey Graham.
