Rand Paul wants to kill Rachael Maddow?

For many decades I have been a student of the body politic and it never ceases to amaze me the lengths that these self important, self glorifying, narcissistic politicians will go to avoid simply acknowledging a mistake.

Take Rand Paul for example...Last week Rachael Maddow pointed out that some portions of Paul's speeches were lifted, verbatim, from Wikipedia.  Instead of just saying, "You know, that was a mistake and in the future we will make sure it doesn't happen again", Paul instead says he wishes that dueling were still allowed.

Presumably the answer to Paul's dilemma is to take out a gun and kill Maddow for pointing out HIS failure.  Is it just me or is there a serious problem here?
