With the recent report by the Congressional Budget Office, a portion of which announced that there would be two million fewer jobs, the anti-Obamacare crew went nuts. It was widely reported in the media that this meant two million job losses, eek! What many people failed to notice, however, was that the CBO report was talking about jobs, or hours at jobs, that people voluntarily stop working.
If I voluntarily cut my hours because I no longer have to work longer just to get health coverage, most people would congratulate me. The anti-Obamacare "job-killer" logic can also apply to summer vacations and weekends, too. Just think of all the jobs that are being killed by people not working!
Don't get me wrong, Obamacare is a cobbled together beast of a program that's a huge giveaway to the insurance industry, but it's better than the alternative. Enjoy the cartoon, like, share and stay healthy-- and if you cut your work hours because you no longer have to scramble to qualify for health insurance, congratulations! After the recent report revealing that Obamacare will kill two million jobs, let's take a closer look at the insidious job-killers!
Two million jobs will be killed, because . . .
Jeb Stevens doesn't want to work the extra hours just to keep his health insurance anymore.
He'd rather kill jobs, hour by every hour he doesn't work.
Henrietta Smith no longer has to hang onto her job until Medicare kicks in, because she can get insured through Obamacare now.
She's a job killer, too.
Betsy Jenkins is ditching those extra hours she used to have to work to qualify for health coverage through her employer.
She wants to spend more time . . . with her children. No doubt teaching them to kill jobs, too.
When people choose not to work jobs they don't want or need, they're killing good, American jobs.
Already, too many jobs are killed . . .
by summer vacation, weekends, and the worst job-killer of all . . . retirement!
So many jobs are already needlessly being killed, it's high time we stop Obamacare from killing jobs, too.
Put America back to work, whether it wants to or not.
(A message from people who will never stop trying to kill Obamacare no matter what leaps of logic it takes.)
