"Mr. President, instead of 5 Taliban, let's trade 5 Democrats." – Rand Paul, U.S. Senator

On the same day Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) revealed that he's seriously considering a presidential run in 2016, he showed off the type of integrity and honor he would bring to that office on Twitter:

"Mr. President, let's set up a new trade. Instead of 5 Taliban, let's trade 5 Democrats!" #RPTCon14

Which begs the question, Mr. Paul: which 5 Democrats – as opposed to indefinitely detained Guantanamo Bay prisoners – would you have given the Taliban in exchange for Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl? Or for any captive U.S. soldier?

Would President Obama happen to be one of them? Because if so, that would be, like, really funny and such a presidential thing to say.

I totally get it. Ha-ha!
