Soon-to-be-former House Majority Leader Eric Cantor
David Brat may have defeated House Majority Leader Eric Cantor, but that doesn't mean he has all the answers:

Brat, just asked by @chucktodd whether there should be a minimum wage, says "I don't have a well-formed response." The man is an economist.

Oh, c'mon, tell us what you think, Professor Brat! We already know that plenty of Republican politicians oppose having any minimum wage at all, so if that's what you think, just go ahead and say it. You won by running to Eric Cantor's right—now is no time to go all wimpy and mushmouthed. You follow politics enough to run for office and defeat the House majority leader, so surely you know that Republican code for "I oppose having any minimum wage at all" is some version of "I believe the market, not government, should set wages."
This guy is going to need to stiffen his spine and get with the program if he's going to be a tea party darling.
