Rep. Steve King and Rep. Michele Bachmann talked about migrant children this week with head World Net Daily conspiracy theorist Jerome Corsi because of course they did. Fellow Three Stooges member Louie Gohmert couldn't be there because, I don't know, he probably locked his wallet in his dog or something.
Steve King's contribution to the discourse was to say that instead of trying to do the usual thing of dispersing children held at the border to foster homes and other places better able to care for them, thus risking the wrath of racist stupid people in places like Murrieta, California, we should just make one big internment camp and call it done.
King, a Republican from Iowa, told Corsi that instead of “scattering these kids all over the country,” they should house them all in a tent city along the border.
For her part, Bachmann said that “100 percent of the girls coming up from Guatemala were on birth control” because they expected to be raped along the way to the U.S.
Yeah, I think we're done here. All three stooges have weighed in on the little brown children existential crisis now,
and we've added a little Jerome Corsi to the mix, and we've got Sen. Ted Cruz acting as de facto House leader and gun-toting lunatics "patrolling" the border in camouflage looking to intercept these kids and it's pretty damn clear we've now reached the point where all the grumbling and racism and Obama hatred and conspiracy theorizing and gun fetishism and Rick Perry's presidential plans and everything else has wrapped itself all up into a perfect storm of proto-fascist Stupid.
Forget Death Panel Summer or Shark Week, August is ramping up to be Little Brown Children Summer, a month of nonstop hate and bile over a bunch of kids who dared set foot in Our Glorious Native Land without the right paperwork. At this rate, they're going to start finding these kids dead at the border.
