Jesus once told the story of a kid who wouldn’t buy health insurance, wanted out of the house, and didn’t even like being part of the family anymore. He wished his father was dead and wanted an advance on his inheritance. He left home and identity and went to living large in South Beach.
Life happened and he found himself near starvation, dreaming of the lamb and twice-baked potatoes that Mama used to make, with key lime pie for dessert.
The father thought “they” had let him die. His fears nearly smothered his hope but he kept waiting and watching. Then one day he spied a speck on the brow of the hill—his son was coming home! With tears running through his beard he ran to his son, held him and kissed him. He feared his son was dead but he was so wrong…and he was so glad he was so wrong.
Fear can make us do and say stupid things—things even worse than not buying health insurance.
The article started off like this and keep in mind Scott started this church andt sits on the board and more than likely is all into the tithe and offering plate .
It came up this week in the Republican debate. A hypothetical 30-year-old man who decides not to buy health insurance tragically ends up in a coma. Should society let him die? Someone in the audience shouted, “Yes!” followed by some harrumphs and applause.
This hypothetical soul presumably spent his living on what? Cars, tattoos, martinis, and acting like a rich guy? Not a responsible person at all, he fails to buy health insurance and bam!...life happens and his young life is drifting death-ward. He took the risk and lost, so let him die? What’s really going on in a crowd that applauds when someone yells, “Yes!”

Well the preacher's article didn't say so but I gather from the article you are going to go to Hell if you have Obamacare and not buying insurance but that is just my interpretation. I personally like the money beggin page where they say use Bank bill pay to donate to the church.
Please consider using your bank’s online bill pay for supporting the ministry and mission of Naples Community Church!
Insanity and using God for Gain at it's finest.
Well we can see where Scott influences reach deep into the soul. Obviously this guy was referring to the prodigal son but could not resist putting Republican discussion in his article.
This church is a piece of work.....I do not know what bible they are using but South Beach is not located in the Holy Land.
