The people of Florida have no clue who this Rick Lynn (Fry) Scott is. Truly they do not.
He has powerful friends in high places, but his brother Roger is not one of them. It is a sad but true story. This brother can so easily hide away a mentally disabled sibling much like he hid TB patients. He hides anything and anyone that makes him look even remotely human.
Picture if you will a brother of a king sitting in a small two bedroom in Dallas, Texas with a mental illness, living off of social security and a self medicating drug prolbem who plasters pictures of his brother on the wall...Picture this poor soul being shut out of the palace and not being treated as family. This is real and this is the kind of " Brother's keeper" Rick Scott is.
Family, should be off limits they say in politics but Rick Scott keeps bringing up his family, including the last debate where he mentioned his mother did not have money for his brother's healthcare. There is also an article that mentions " The Good boy" that Esther Fry Scott referered to in the 2010 campaign but also did mention that he did not listen to her. Still in all, a good boy.
Rick Scott fleeced his fellow shipmates. Why did he only serve 29 months?
Who introduced Scott to billionaire Richard Rainwater? ( The billionaire who made HCA and Disney and even GWB and Scott business parterns?)
The family that Scott constantly brings up with pride were dirt poor. Really? For how long and at what price or deal with the devils of Wall Street did he pay by taking from the less fortunate?
Why would a man of fortune ( GREAT FORTUNE) bankroll his campaign unless he expects a return on his investment?
Why would a man who dodges questions like it is Ebola call the press in to tell them to back off their questions regarding his policy on drug testing? Talking about his family was inappropriate.. It is not when the pee test would have included his own brother whom he only mentions when sympathy about his poor upbringing is necessary?
Why does this brother live on the poor side of town when a brother has millions and millions and this Roger dude is grateful that his brother pays a few utility bills.

The resulting story was published here in Miami New Times, and it turns out Governor Scott didn't appreciate it.
Today, for the first time, Scott invited reporters into his office. Previously, the governor, who has a tendency to try to tightly control the press, arranged interviews only outside his office. He held a 60-minute Q&A session with about two dozen journalists.
Times/Herald reporter Michael C. Bender noted that our article was brought up:
Scott said it was "inappropriate" for the Miami New-Times [sic] to call his brother, Roger, for this story.
Roger Scott lives in a poor area of Dallas. He has a criminal record, is on welfare and has battled with drugs. "I help him, although he doesn't know I help him because it's through my sister," Scott said.
"I love my brother. I wish he'd figured his life out, but he hasn't," Scott said.
Scott had refused to comment about the story at the time of publication.

Helping by paying some of his medical expenses and this rebuttal in comments by David Kearns, author of Rick Scott Enemy of the State, and friend of Sem Dem's and mine who attended our meetup and running independently for State seat in Florida. David said this in the comments section of the article.

While we sympathize with the governor and his brother, the nature of the article is not inappropriate. Governor you continue to cut programs for social services with abandon and yet you have a sibling suffering from some of the very things these services address. You also are pushing for a national agenda to treat the out of work and the poor like criminals. How can you do it? There is nothing inappropriate about journalists doing their jobs....
Who all does Rick Scott owe favors to and at what price do regular Floridans have to suffer because of his deal making?
Who is running the Governors Mansion in reality?
Why does Rick Scott run from so many questions regarding his money, assets and blind trusts, yet cling to the , "I' am just a poor boy from Illinois" theme?
What are his true ties to the Bush family ?
Why does he bring up his deceased mother at every opportunity ? The Mother that he is proud divorced his father? Who was his father? I mean she divorced the man when Rick was 2 years old yet gave him her maiden name at birth? Why would someone do that if they were legally married? His legal name would not be her maiden name.
He was adopted by a truck driver. We don't know much about him.
Talk about a rags to riches story and none of it seems to be done from hard work, this one is for the books. Problem being, the rags have plenty of holes in them and this person sitting in Tallahassee seems like a clueless, bozo with someone pulling his strings.
Is Rick Scott mentally stable? Does he as his brother have a drug problem?
So many questions...so many ..and so little time before election day. I agree with Charlie Crist. This man is too shady for Florida. This man is too shady for any position or role in government.
This man is not only cruel and elusive, he is downright scary. I think the people of Florida have a right to know who all these people are and making decisions in their name.
Floridians, please take this state back from the rich and powerful AND POSSIBLY unstable. VOTE.....If you have to drag a lawn chair and have a Scott Free party...do it.
We the people of Florida can only do better. If we don't get him out....his masters could throw him into a national arena just like they did George W.
In the meantime, Roger Scott, sits in a 2 bedroom apartment on the poor side of town, grateful for any crumbs thrown to him by his Big Brother who lives in a palace by the sea. Yep, that is surely a fine example of empathy for those less fortunate. Even those from your own bloodline.
Who are you Rick Scott and I am beginning to think you are the spawn of the devil.
