Don't get me wrong: The dKos community has given me tons of love and support (and donations), and I appreciate it tremendously.
I certainly don't expect every single ACA-related diary to include a reference to me or my work.
Having said that, would it be too much to ask that you actually link to ACA Signups when posting a front-page diary that's specifically focused on how many people have enrolled via the ACA exchanges???
(ok, I was out of line; see update below)
Thanks.
(for the record, the current total is actually 2.63 million nationally, as of last night).
In addition, the FP story has misleading information on it. It makes it sound like the deadline for January 1st coverage is 12/15 for EVERY state, when in fact there are 5 state exchanges which have a later deadline:
--Maryland: 12/18
--Massachusetts: 12/23
--Idaho: 12/23
--Rhode Island: 12/23
--Washington State: 12/23
Update: I've been informed that Kerry Eleveld, who wrote the FP diary, is brand-new. I kind of assumed that FPers were all long-time dKos members, and that she presumably was around last winter/spring and was at least vaguely aware of the ACA Signups project (and the close connection to dKos), which is why I was a bit taken aback here.
I've now been informed, however, that she's actually an outside hire, in which case it's understandable that she didn't know.
So...I apologize for the ego blast. Shocker: Not everyone in the progressive blogging community knows who I am!! :)
Anyway, the deadline thing still needs to be clarified, though.
