I have always admired the on-the-spot nature of Missouri's Eli Yokley (@eyokely) who has followed the Missouri Legislature over the last few years. Today, though, Eli managed to chase one of those stories that if you had only heard on as a rumor you'd doubt it - except he backed it up with pictures to boot.
And.. it just gets better. Because the decided to hold the meeting at a public country club, Progress Missouri - a fantastic resource for Missouri Progressives looking to know what is going on, is livestreaming this off-premise meeting..

The meeting, attended by only 4 of the 12 members of the telecommunication committee is still racking up some decent turnout, considering the missing members of the committee are easily replaced with lobbyists who are on hand.
Boy, if only I could attend state committee meetings that served Honey Miso Chicken.
If you're in Missouri, you owe it to yourself to check out and throw a hattip to these journalists who are working hard to get the story out - even when their legislatures try to go "on the lamb" (which, I'm told could have been on the menu, but they opted for chicken)
5:58 PM PT: HILARIOUS-
The legislators apparently don't realize this is being live streamed.
So far, we've spent time discussing:
Voter Fraud
Papa Johns Arming employees
Gun rights
"bad" committees
Whether or not free cable in Mexico on a trip was 'hinky'.
They are just oblivious that this is being livestreamed
