So for at least two years people on this site have been writing about the ridiculousness of not just guns, and toy guns, but guns 'aimed' at women... pink guns, and things like 'bra-holsters'. I quote Hunter:
You make a fashion-oriented concealed carry product. America's female gun obsessives are all about hiding their guns in (1) stylish purses dedicated to the task or (2) um, attached directly to bras? All right, I get the purse, but having an under-the-bra holster accomplishes exactly what, now? It means that whenever you get in a situation that urgently requires you to get your gun, first you have to unbutton your shirt. I'm just going to guess that the people designing "gun products for women" are much the same people that write action movies and design video games. I don't mean that in a good way.
Much like the 'accidents' where a mother was shot by her toddler at a shopping center when digging around in her concealed carry purse, or the tragedy where a toddler shot his father and pregnant mother another tragedy has occurred when a woman adjusted her apparently uncomfortable concealed carry method:
Police: Woman fatally shot self while adjusting bra holster
Police say a 55-year-old southwestern Michigan woman who died after accidentally shooting herself in the head in January was adjusting a handgun in her bra holster at the time.
The St. Joseph Public Safety Department is awaiting a full autopsy report in the death of Christina Bond, but Director Mark Clapp on Wednesday released details about the circumstances surrounding the Jan. 1 shooting to the Kalamazoo Gazette (http://bit.ly/... ).
Clapp says Bond was "having trouble adjusting her bra holster, couldn't get it to fit the way she wanted it to. She was looking down at it and accidentally discharged the weapon."
Another preventable tragedy all in the guise of profits and 'freedom'.
