House Benghazi czar still dragging his feet on Hillary Clinton's testimony

Hillary Clinton is ready and willing to testify before the House Select Committee on Benghazi. But Republican Benghazi Czar Trey Gowdy is now suggesting he's not ready to hear from her, and of course to hear him tell it, the reason is not that he's slow-walking the investigation to time its final conclusions for maximum impact on the 2016 elections, it's all President Obama's fault, or Clinton's fault, whichever seems more politically relevant at any given moment. According to an interim report:

“The Committee will call Secretary Clinton to testify once it is satisfied that all the relevant information has been provided by both the State Department and her,” it stated.

When Trey Gowdy is good and ready, in other words, he'll say he's satisfied that the information has been provided. And he'll be good and ready when he gets to dig through Hillary Clinton's personal emails.

“At every turn, the Select Committee comes up with a new excuse to further delay its work and then blames its glacial pace on someone else,” [Democratic Rep. Elijah] Cummings said. “Republicans are desperately trying to validate the $3 million in taxpayer funds they have spent over the past year, but they have nothing to show for it other than a partisan attack against Secretary Clinton and her campaign for president.”

It's a ludicrous farce of a sham, but Republicans seem to think they need it for 2016, so they'll keep pouring millions of dollars into dragging it out and spreading insinuations to hide the lack of proof of any wrongdoing.
