The NYC Kossacks welcomed both peregrine kate and asterkitty to Spitzer's Corner on a gorgeous Spring day. As usual, it was a great group of Kossacks with fabulous food and terrific conversation.
asterkitty was only in NYC for the day, but peregrine kate had lots of plans before she flew out on Monday night. One was to see the revival of The King and I!
You all know the wonderful peregrine kate from the amazing work she does to help keep Michigan blue, and her administering of the Monday Night Cancer Club.

Because peregrine kate was flying out on Monday evening I had the chance to spend some time with her before her flight. We had a great time at MOMA seeing the fantastic Jacob Lawrence exhibit and then had a quick lunch. This is really a spectacular exhibit, beautifully curated and a must see for anyone who can
get to it. Kate is an extraordinary woman and I'm so glad I had a chance to spend a bit more time with her.
We missed the twins but they are busy guys. They better come next time because we have a graduation to celebrate.
Two Conventes are better than one!
