Climate Change Deniers are adamant about their cause because it aligns with their political beliefs. Instead of looking at the issue objectively, they look for any evidence that can justify their views.
This is an email I have just received from a work colleague. Help me debunk him.
... the test of time has disproven IPCC report about the disappearance of snow from the Himalayas (Just ask the climbers that were killed by avalanches recently). The snow in America would be gone according to the Goracle Prophet (Al Gore). But in fact the ice volume has increased in the Arctic and Antarctic the last 2 years. In fact Global Warming has been flat for the last 15 years. This can all be explained by Solar irradiance. Solar irradiance has been increasing over the last 300 year. The last/current solar irradiance cycle has been the exception to the trend. It has been extremely low in comparison to the last 3 cycles and is even lower than the solar cycles of the 70's in which the climate priests were predicting manmade global cooling at the time. You may not have been old enough to remember the apocalypse scare of the 70's where man was responsible for an impending catastrophic ice age. The ice age fizzle out and then there was a transitioned to manmade global warming, but that is fizzling out also. So now it is manmade climate change. I was always taught as a geologist the climate is always changing, but I guess not everybody can have an earth science degree. Here is a site that you can get data on solar irradiance cycles( http://lasp.colorado.edu/... ). It is very obvious, but people are too lazy to do the research themselves and most are willing to be spoon fed their science by the paid priest of Church of Climate Change.
You have to ask yourself 3 questions: 1. If the earth is getting warmer from greenhouse gases, why has Mars lost its polar icecaps during the same period? (Hint: Martian SUVs) 2. What are all the greenhouse gases in the atmosphere and how much of it is comprised by carbon dioxide and methane; what IS the primary gas? 3. Why was the earth warmer than present during the Medieval Warm period prior to the industrial revolution? If you accept taking the red pill, you may leave the Matrix. Who knows you may even be allowed to leave the Church of MANipulated Science.
