Last week, I posted about a special needs puppy at the Lack Jackson, Texas, SPCA shelter. Everyone was amazingly thoughtful, helpful, and kind in getting the word about the little guy who is gonna need all the help in the world... I am proud to report that he is now fostered! Moreover, his GoFund me has raised, now, over $1320 for him and he is soon on his way, on June 6th, to an Orthopedic Surgeon at Texas A&M for evaluation to see what can be done for the guy.
He is so full of life that we're all pulling for the best outcome possible for Pixie's Pup.
He, his momma, and his brother are all now in a loving foster home, which is a huge first step for the guy..

I have some wonderful news as well: as of today, the little guy is in FOSTER. We are all really hoping here that this works out for him. He, his sibling, and mama all went together.
This means he will have a safe and warm place as he undergoes whatever treatment he needs. A foster is very important for a little guy like him, and is a HUGE first step!
He almost did not have a foster; I met his foster mama at the shelter this morning, while I was carrying him back to Pixie. She was looking for a dog.
If I had not been holding him at that moment, she may not have met him and his mama.
We're not sure if she will adopt our boy, but is willing to help provide at a warm place while we do our best to get his legs in order.
