I caught this article about Joe Biden and wanted to share it with everyone here. Personally I didn't know about Biden's previous loss, and now that his kids are grown, I hope he can gain new (or renewed) insight from these words, even if they are his own.
Beyond that, I don't think I can our should offer any additional commentary, except to say that whatever we think of public figures -- heroes, villains, clowns, liars or regular people -- maybe we should try to remember that they are human, and they are just as much affected by personal tragedy as the rest of us.
And kudos to Ezra Klein.
