Packard automobiles were produced from 1899 until 1958. James Ward Packard and William Doud Packard, along with their partner George Lewis Weiss started the Ohio Automobile Company to build Packard automobiles. In 1902, the company was renamed the Packard Motor Car Company. Packards were luxury automobiles. Shown below are some of the Packards on display at the LeMay—America’s Car Museum in Tacoma, Washington.

Shown above is a 1939 Packard Super Eight Convertible Coupe. Just under 4,000 Super Eight models were produced. The Convertible Coupe was priced at $1,878 and featured a two-door, four-passenger configuration.


Shown above is a 1942 Packard 180 Rollston Town Car. It features two radios, silk curtains, a built-in intercom, jump seats, and a bar. It was supposedly built for the president of Packard.
