Kim Davis is violating the law.
She should be jailed and, then, voted out of office--after due process.
What she should not be subjected to are a whole range of attacks spreading around social media--and progressives should make the point whenever they catch this.
She should not be made fun of because of what she happens to wear.
She should not be criticized or mocked for her own personal life involving her own experiences with relationships or marriage.
It is very simple and we have to have a laser focus on this: she refuses to enforce the law of the land and does not deserve to be in her job.
I felt the same when there was a raft of attacks against Chris Christie, with many of the comments or pictures accentuating his weight.
Chris Christie is a horrendous leader. He's anti-union. He should not be governor and we should do everything possible to retire him from office based on his policies.
BUT...we should not mock him because of his physical appearance.
And, honestly, as much as I think the front-runner for the Republican nomination is a racist, dangerous liar, I cringe at stories--circulated by liberals/progressives--that make fun of his appearance, particularly his hair.
We should all care about this. Bernie supporters should care because this is precisely the point Bernie has made repeatedly: the fight over politics cannot be trivial and should not be about superficial issues.
Hillary supporters should care because of the constant, unfair references to her appearances.
It's not okay.

6:55 AM PT: Fixed the "fired" part...in other places, like where I live, the clerk is appointed, not elected so my mistake.
