Dave Brat is running to be re-elected in the VA-07th Congressional District, and he is one of Donald Trumps chief allies and supporters in Congress. He argues that Donald Trump “wants to restore the basic principles that made us great.” As the video shows, that doesn’t sound as good as you think it does, because Mr. Trump seems to have some problems with what those great American principles are. But that’s ok with Dave Brat, apparently.
