Kaine Strongly Supports Eileen Bedell in Battle with Dave Brat in Virginia’s 7th

Hillary becoming our 45th President is only the start. She needs a Democratic House, and Tim Kaine is giving her a great boost in Virginia. With his broad popularity in Virginia, his coattails are very long!

Kaine’s PAC made a $4,000 contribution to Eileen Bedell soon after she was nominated to run against Dave Brat, the Tea Party-backed “Cantor Killer” in the 7th District of Virginia. That bet is paying off, as Bedell has gone on to build a strong campaign against Brat and is rising in recent polls. Brat’s unpopularity, even among mainline Republicans, provides an opportunity for a moderate Democrat to beat him in his first reelection campaign. The Hillary/Kaine coattails can give Bedell the last push to victory. Tim Kaine, the first governor to endorse Obama in 2008 and Bedell’s first big contributor: you are the Man!
