John Podesta, Hillary’s Campaign Chair and the leader of a Democratic think tank that doesn’t even have a plan for true universal health care, seems to think his candidate is an awesome “rebel girl.”
Um, excuse me.
A “rebel girl” does not serve on Walmart’s Board of Directors and stay silent as it viciously attacks unions.
A “rebel girl” does not articulate a willingness to compromise on abortion rights.
A “rebel girl” does not refer to children as “super predators” with no empathy who, like dogs, must be brought to “heel” before we can discuss how poverty has played a role in their lives.
A “rebel girl” does not yell that single-payer health care will “never, ever come to pass” and attack a fellow Democrat for supporting the policy.
A “rebel girl” does not say she is “flattered” by Henry Kissinger — responsible for the deaths of millions of civilians in Southeast Asia -- praising her work.
A “rebel girl” does not take $675,000 from Goldman Sachs for giving three speeches in a country where the median annual income is $51,939.
A “rebel girl” does not submit to the military-industrial complex and cast votes for unnecessary wars.
Hillary is not a #RebelGirl. She is an establishment DC politician who answers first and foremost to powerful interest groups and the billionaire class.
Bernie is a rebel, Hillary — regardless of gender — is the establishment.
