Today, after his South Carolina victory — on CNN Trump predicted a Trump Clinton General Election
If you look what happened this week, it was clear he was not in a debate with the Republicans
Listen to what Trump's been saying this week — in the debate with Jeb!
Obviously the war in Iraq was a big fat mistake, alright?" Trump said at CBS News' GOP debate in Greenville, South Carolina. "George Bush made a mistake, we can make mistakes. But that one was a beauty."
Trump went on to tie the war to his current White House rival, Jeb Bush.
"It took Jeb Bush -- if you remember at the beginning of his announcement when he announced for president, it took him five days -- 'It was a mistake, it wasn't a mistake,' -- it took him five days before his people told him what to say," Trump said. "[W]e should have never been in Iraq, we have destabilized the Middle East."
During his victory speech in South Carolina:
We don't win on trade. You look at what China's doing to us, what Japan does to us, what Mexico is just killing us at the border -- at the border and with trade….They've taken our jobs, they've taken our money, they've taken everything. We're bringing our jobs back, folks. We're bringing our jobs back. We're going to bring them back ...
and
We're going to build our military so big, so good, so strong, so powerful that nobody is ever going to mess with us, folks.
(APPLAUSE) D. TRUMP: And we're going to buy -- we're going to buy the equipment that our generals, our soldiers, that everybody that's in the know want. We're not buying equipment that sells because they have political pull (ph). Because they take campaign and they give campaign contributions.
We are going to get the equipment that they want, not the equipment that they're told to have by senators and congressmen in Washington. We're going to have great equipment.
(APPLAUSE)
D. TRUMP: And the reason I can say that is I'm self-funding my campaign. I'm not getting millions of dollars from all of these ...
(APPLAUSE)
D. TRUMP: I'm not getting millions of dollars from all of these special interests and lobbyists and donors
Trump has his main platform for running against Hillary:
And ask yourself how she would be in a better position than Bernie Sanders on these issues:
1. The Iraq War
Hillary Clinton voted for it
Trump says it was a huge mistake and destabilized the Middle East
Sanders voted against it and predicted it would destabilize the Middle East
2. Bad Trade agreements (NAFTA)
The Clinton’s both Bill and Hillary lobbied for it,
Sanders against
Trump says trade deals are 'bad’ and he’s going to ‘bring back the jobs’
3. Special Interests and lobbyists money
Hillary has received a lot of special interests money and her Wall Street ties are a big issue
Trump — self funding, beat Jeb!’s mighty corporate PACs
“I’m not getting millions of dollars from all of these special interests and lobbyists and donors”
Sanders — getting the most individual donations of any candidate in history, no Corporate PAC money…
If you are ok with ignoring the fact that Bernie Sanders does better against all Republicans than Hillary and has the higher favorable ratings than Hillary.
Consider this:
Sanders has a distinct edge over Trump that Hillary doesn’t
Sanders has consistently been running against the 1% getting the majority of the wealth
Trump is from the 1%
Hillary has moved into the 1%
And imagine how Hillary would respond to Trump bringing up these three issues in a debate?
These three issues are Hillary’s key weak points and Sander’s key strong points.
Trump was not in office or voting, so he can make up what his position ‘was’ before.
And with Sander’s Trump has no real clear issue to attack on.
If you think he does, please list it.
Sanders is our best chance to win, period.
