Received this e-mail today from Governor Tom Wolf’s (D. PA) re-election campaign:
I sent a letter warning Attorney General Jeff Sessions to uphold the protections that states have to pass and regulate their own medical marijuana laws after news came out that he personally asked Congress to allow him to prosecute medical marijuana providers.
That's unacceptable. Join me in telling Congress and Attorney General Sessions that no family should have to choose between breaking the law or getting their child the medicine they need.
Last year, lawmakers from both sides of the aisle came together to pass this legislation after hearing from families, doctors, and advocates. I stood with veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and children suffering from daily seizures -- and I was proud to sign medical marijuana legalization into law to provide much-needed relief to them and their families.
If Attorney General Sessions tries to stand in the way of a patient's access to cannabis for medical treatment of illnesses and diseases, I will instruct the Attorney General of Pennsylvania to take action to protect our sovereignty.
If you're with me, help me send this urgent message to Congress and Attorney General Sessions: Don't undo the Rohrabacher-Farr protections and remove protections for states to legalize and regulate medical cannabis:

Thanks,
