This FBI TEXT was supposed to be the latest GOP smear against the integrity of the FBI — but unfortunately for the Party of Law and Order Obstruction, their latest fable was exposed, for the no-evidence fabrication it really was ...
Text messages exchanged between two FBI employees stating that then-President Obama wanted “to know everything” referred to the bureau's investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, not a probe into Hillary Clinton’s email server, The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday.
[...]
Associates of Strzok and Page, who were having an affair at the time, reportedly said the two were talking about Obama wanting information on Russian interference in the 2016 election.
The exchange occurred days before Obama met with Russian President Vladimir Putin and spoke to him about election tampering, The Wall Street Journal reported.
Here is what the Chief Idiot said about the Texts, which had been taken out of context by newly designated Trump Water-carrier, Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.):
Hah! These FBI agents weren’t ‘plotting’ to cover up the Hillary emails as alleged by the Idiot’s minions. But instead it shows, these FBI Agents were dutiful researching The Russian Interference in the 2016 Election.
This turn of event here, points out the total lack of interest of the current Administration, in the Russian Attacks on our 2016 Elections, and their anticipated even stronger attacks, in the up-coming 2018 Elections:
Russians penetrated US voter systems, DHS cybersecurity chief tells NBC
CNBC.com — 02/07/2018
Russians penetrated multiple states' voter registration rolls in the 2016 presidential election, the head of cybersecurity at the Department of Homeland Security told NBC News on Wednesday.
Of the 21 states targeted by Russians in the election, several were successfully penetrated, said Jeanette Manfra, in an exclusive interview with NBC.
Tillerson warns US is vulnerable to Russian meddling ahead of midterms
Secretary of State Rex Tillerson warned that any Russian interference in November's midterm elections would "invite consequences," but suggested the United States is still vulnerable to such meddling.
"Well, I don't know that I would say we're better prepared (than in 2016) because the Russians will adapt as well," Tillerson told Fox News in an interview from, Bogota, Colombia Tuesday. "The point is if it's their intention to interfere, they're going to find ways to do that."
“Invite consequences” ?????????
Hasn’t that RSVP already been sent by the US Congress, BUT the Trump Administration decided to tear it up, in their “Bizzaro World” wisdom, since:
“Just the threat of more sanctions, is an enough of an deterrence for Putin.” (So those punitive sanctions, don’t really have to be implemented ...)
Talk about … ‘talking out of both sides’ of your mouth Election-shrugging obstruction.
