Bob Weir's song-writing partner (not to mention Brent Mydland’s and Vince Welnick’s) and internet pioneer John Barlow passed away; may the black throated wind carry him to a place where the music never stops.  He was a champion of an open internet and was an early contributor to the Well community who declared the new declaration of independence of cyberspace. RIP
