David Hogg, who is a survivor of the Parkland, Florida shooting massacre at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on February 14th, continues his activism against gun violence and the NRA. This past weekend, Hogg tweeted some progress for the common sense gun law cause—via NRA’s reported financial troubles.
“The NRA admitted in a recent court filing that it’s hurting financially thanks to activism by the teenage survivors of the Parkland school massacre.
Clearly the young people are winning.” —David Hogg, August 2, 2018
Take a look at our future. They are amazing.
The NRA was also trolled by twitter offering “thoughts and prayers.” Huffington Post collected a good number of tweets including those by celebrities like comedian/talk show host Chelsea Handler.
Cheers to all who stand up for common sense gun laws and against the NRA, the reportedly corrupt organization indirectly responsible for thousands and thousands of innocent lives.
