When Ebony Harris saw Angela Peters being turned away from a nail salon just a few feet from her register at the Burton, Idaho, Walmart, she decided to do something about it. Peters has cerebral palsy, and the nail salon staff said they couldn’t do her nails because her hands move too much. Harris, a cashier at the Walmart, took her break and went with Peters to pick out some nail supplies, and then the two sat down at a table in the store’s Subway sandwich shop. Tasia Smith works at the Subway, and she watched it all unfold, taking a couple of quick photos. Later on, she posted her story onto her Facebook page, and the story went viral.
Today, this sweet girl went into burton Wal-Mart's nail salon "Da Vi nails" and they denied her service because "she moves too much".. Out of the kindess of the walmart workers hearts they went and bought nail polish and came into my work to paint this sweet girls nails. They were so patient with her (which she did great, barely moved & was just so sweet).. Its an absolute shame that they denied her for some thing so little. They will not be getting any service from me ever again! Thank you to the walmart workers for making this beautiful girls day! 💜
Harris told news stations that she and Tasia hadn’t posted the story to shame the nail salon; they did it out of appreciation for Angela Peters, and to remind people that people are people, regardless of their situation.
"I just wanted to make her day special. I didn't really want her day to be ruined. That's why I did it. And plus she's a sweetie," Harris said.

"And you know, she moved her hands a little bit and she kept saying she was sorry. And, I told her don't say that. I said you're fine," Harris said.
After Harris was finished, Peters gave her review to local news:
Peters: I’m like ‘Wow, these are amazing!’
The three women have found themselves spending a lot of time together since the post went viral, and have a few dinner plans ahead of them.
Whew, these California wildfires are really messing with my eyes.
