This week, on the heels of his G7 blow-up, President @realDonaldTrump held his much hyped summit (read: photo op) with Kim Jong-Un.
Suffice it to say, the meeting did not go as badly as Trump's critics feared it would—it went worse... much, much worse.
Had Trump merely legitimized a murderous dictator, that would've been bad enough (Dayenu)—but he also lavished praise on the "little rocket man," and fantasized about "his people" displaying the same fealty as Kim's do (under threat of death).
And, had Trump gotten less than he gave up, that, too, would've been very bad—but he didn't just get less... he got virtually nothing at all in return for giving away the store.
The fact of the matter is, we probably would've been better off sending the guy who actually wrote "The Art of the Deal" to negotiate on our behalf.

Ivanka Trump tweeted a fake Chinese proverb.
Ivanka Trump urged on her father's meeting at Singapore by tweeting an inspirational nugget she described as a Chinese proverb — but nobody in China has a clue what she's talking about.
She wrote on Monday: "Those who say it can not be done, should not interrupt those doing it," attributing the phrase simply as "Chinese Proverb."
The post, which is currently pinned to the top of Trump's Twitter profile, appeared to be a jab at her father's critics as he prepared for his unprecedented meeting with Kim Jong Un on Tuesday.
The problem? Nobody in China even knows what the phrase means, or where it might have come from.

Don Jr. went on Fox News to wish his father a happy birthday and attest to how delicious his Kool-Aid is.
During an interview on Thursday's edition of Fox & Friends, Donald Trump Jr. was asked to respond to comments Sen. Bob Corker (R-TN) made the day before about the "cult-like situation" that President Trump's Republican Party has become.
Trump Jr. didn't totally reject the characterization. Instead, after he was played a clip of Corker's remarks, he said, "you know what, if it's a cult, it's because they like what my father is doing."
Just minutes after making those comments, Trump Jr. concluded the interview by looking into the camera and wishing his dad a happy birthday.
"Hopefully he's watching, I imagine he is — happy birthday dad, I love you very much," Trump Jr. said.
Sad!
