Received this e-mail today from the Progressive Change Campaign Committee in support of Rep. Beto O’Rourke’s (D. TX) U.S. Senate campaign:
DC consultants would tell most US Senate candidates trying to defeat Ted Cruz not to go onstage with Willie Nelson and play Nelson's songs “Roll Me Up and Smoke Me When I Die” and “It’s All Going to Pot.”
But Texas progressive Beto O'Rourke isn't about DC consultants. He's about connecting with real people -- because he IS a real person.
He also happens to be within 5 points of Ted Cruz in a recent poll. CNN calls Beto's fundraising "eye-popping." (Beto's out-raised Cruz the last 3 quarters and overall for the whole campaign.)
Of COURSE there's video. Watch it here. Then, chip in $3 to help Beto win in November, send Ted Cruz packing, and TAKE BACK THE SENATE.
Thanks for being a bold progressive.
